FOR ORGANIZATIONS

FOR ORGANIZATIONS

I collaborate with teams, organizations, and communities to meet life’s most profound realities.

I help people and groups draw on their own strengths and resources to move through disruption and change while remaining steady, whole, and connected.

I offer education, consultation, facilitation, group programs, and speaking for organizations, teams, and communities.

I tailor each engagement to your needs, goals, and context, from a single conversation to an ongoing program.

I work with organizations, teams, and communities across healthcare, professional, nonprofit, educational, and community settings.

  How I Work With Organizations

Education

Lectures, didactic sessions, courses, trainings, continuing education, and customized programs for organizations, teams, and communities, including healthcare professionals and caregivers.

Topics include serious illness, dying and death, grief, spiritual care, spirituality, communication, ethics, interprofessional collaboration, and wellbeing and sustainability.

Participants deepen their understanding of these experiences and develop practical ways to bring that understanding into their work and lives.

Consultation

I work with organizations, teams, and leaders to develop, strengthen, and carry out programs and approaches that respond to the needs of their people and communities. I bring relevant expertise, an outside perspective, and practical experience to help shape the work, prepare the people who will carry it forward, and address challenges that arise along the way.

Organizations gain a well-considered approach, people who are prepared to carry it forward, and support as the work takes shape.

Facilitation & Group Programs

I design and facilitate customized workshops, retreats, and group programs for teams, organizations, and communities.

Examples include Group TRE, Wellbeing & Sustainability, grief support circles, facilitated dialogue, team workshops, and retreats for reflection, connection, learning, or renewal.

I help groups draw on their own strengths and resources to meet difficult realities while remaining steady, connected, and able to move forward together.

Speaking

I speak to conferences, organizations, professional groups, teams, and communities about serious illness, spiritual care and realization, grief, caregiving, professional wellbeing, interprofessional collaboration, and death and dying.

Engagements include keynotes, invited talks, lectures, public conversations, and podcasts.

I help audiences make sense of difficult human experiences, ask deeper questions, and find ways to meet them in their work and lives.

 Why Work With Me

More than 20 years as a clinical healthcare chaplain, educator, and Assistant Professor of Palliative Medicine at UCSF, working directly with people across spiritual, religious, and existential backgrounds through serious illness, grief, dying, and other profound life transitions.

Leaders bring me in for both subject-matter expertise and the ability to help people engage challenging experiences and situations with depth, clarity, and care. I bring a track record spanning hospitals, universities, nonprofits, and communities and the follow-through to see a project from first conversation to last session.
